5 features music box enthusiast Jack Murfett describing one of his many antique music machines after treating us to a lunch at the Wheat Sheaf in Terang.
5 also features a recording of Aina Sato’s music box. The tune, “Ureshii Hinamatsuri” is traditionally played on Girl’s Day in Japan, and must be listened to in the doll room.
9 was recorded on a 45 degree day at the (unventilated) E2E4 warehouse. It features The Because of Ghosts Singers, who performed for no reward other than watermelon and cheese sandwiches: Emily Bieber, Renee Burdue, Wendy Cooper, Nick van Cuylenburg, Neil Erenstrom, Jodie Georgiou, Chris Hung, Tim Jacobs, Jacob Pearce, Joan Pearce, Lily Pearce, Randall Pearce, Andrew Ramadge, Scooby, Liam Shambrook, Domenic Stanton and Andrew Watson. Emily made the sandwiches.
