“Barrage is the operational name of Mark Gomes, whose solo electro-pop creations remind me of some of the feyer nuggets dropped from the portal of Cherry Red’s El imprint. The A side is pretty interesting in terms of construction. The stolen guitar part works well enough as a central compositional motif, but the flip is extremely ‘mersh, dancey-ass haircut pop.
