about

Textile Audio is a solo project for operatic mezzo soprano and electronic musician Eve Klein.

Working with scores, field recordings, and operatic-pop vocals, Textile Audio weaves rich melodic soundscapes and textures that are unashamedly romantic.

Her debut EP for Feral Media includes material from her forthcoming 'electronica opera', titled "The Pomegranate Cycle". Fusing opera, ambient electronica and post-classical composition, the work is loosely based around the myth of Persephone; and is premiering at the Brisbane Festival as part of 'Under The Radar'.

The EP also includes a new remix by Sydney's Gentleforce, whose recent contribution to Feral Media's POWWOW series ('Sacred Spaces') translated into an upcoming appearance on a compilation CD from the renowned magazine, The Wire.
